Covid has many far-reaching effects, we hear frequently of customers being patient and giving extra tips to their waitstaff. That is a great start, but it is not just the hospitality industry with lingering effects. Property restoration and home improvement services are also having many product and labor shortages.
We appreciate those who have trusted us to restore and/or improve their properties, we know it is difficult not knowing exactly when your home will be back to normal.
Project timeframes depending on the type of repair, before Covid typically averaged about 8-12 weeks, but many projects are extending out at least a month, sometimes even three months, past the pre-Covid typical times, depending on supplies and labor available for your specific projects.
Some clients understandably want to hear back from individual contractors regularly to know an exact schedule for their project, but many contractors do not know when certain materials may become available and must scramble when they do. We ask for your patience for us and them.
We all want to see you with the best possible result in the quickest timeframe, but current times require more patience than ever before.
Bottom Line: please be patient and kind to your contractors.
